Role Overview
We are looking to bring on reliable, professional yet fun, and detail-oriented contractors to support our event production and entertainment work. Depending on experience and assignment, contractors may assist with loading equipment, setting up and tearing down audio/visual systems, supporting DJs and technicians on-site, operating basic production equipment, or performing as DJ/MC talent. This work is event-based and may include weddings, corporate events, school events, private parties, concerts, and touring productions. Contractors are expected to arrive on time, represent the company professionally, follow event-specific instructions, handle equipment with care, and work safely in fast-paced live-event environments.
Compensation
In exchange for the above, we use a structured contractor rate system based on role, experience, event complexity, and travel. For production support, most new contractors start around $20–$25/hr, with talent around $55-$75/performance hr, with higher rates available for technicians, leads, and specialty roles. There are special travel rates, warehouse rates, and commission as well.
For distant events, the above compensation rates are generally paid in addition to covered event expenses. When applicable, we typically cover lodging, meals, transportation, vehicle costs, fuel, tolls, parking, and other approved travel needs related to the assignment. This means the listed rates are not intended to include major travel costs unless specifically stated otherwise. All travel arrangements and reimbursable expenses must be approved in advance and follow Company policy.
